Related Parties The Company uses Gendreau Consulting, LLC, a consulting firm (“Gendreau”), for drug development, clinical trial design, and planning, implementation and execution of contracted activities with CROs. Gendreau’s managing member became the Company’s Chief Medical Officer (“CMO”) effective January 1, 2021. The Company has and will continue to contract the services of the CMO’s spouse through the firm to perform certain activities in connect with the Company’s ongoing clinical development of product candidates. During the years ended December 31, 2022 and 2021, the Company paid Gendreau $356,088 and $326,416, respectively, and had accounts payable of $21,000 and $24,840 to Gendreau as of December 31, 2022 and 2021, respectively.
